Sermon on the 10th Dominica after Pentecost, Feast of St. Peter in Chains...also the Feast of the Holy Maccabees...today We have to reflect on the Gospel as recorded by the Evangelist St. Luke, our Lord teaching the mankind to follow the example of the Publican and not of the Pharisee, both praying in the temple, one, the proud Pharisee explaining and enumerating his good deeds in front of God without any sign of humble acknowledgment that such works come by the necessary help from God to accomplish them, hypocritically exalting himself as if they were his own and blaming the rest for not being as the Pharisee himself was in his own eyes, the other, the Publican, humbly begging God to be merciful to him, showing to all, in this our Lord's parable, that what counts the most is the humble submission to the will of God and clear understanding and profession of the truth that truly without Him none can accomplish anything of value, as our Lord states Himself that without Him we can do nothing....and the comparison of the scandals of the heretics and apostate sectarians, who, not serving God our Lord but their own belly and their master the devil, they don't belong to our Lord and His true Catholic Church and can never as such be saved...
THEREFORE...either with God or with the devil and in that case the ending is in Hell forever and nothing else, as those who serve the devil cannot be saved, which is the common ground of all heretics and apostates and infidels, as on their own accord they reject God and His true Catholic Church and rather serve in their sins the devil, for which evil and sacrilegious rejection of the truth such enemies of God will have to repay it to Him...which means eternally and forever in Hell...alongside the devil their master...!
