Sermon of His Holiness Pope Jacobus I on the 3rd Dominica after Epiphany...22 January 2023 AD...in today's Gospel Christ Our Lord directs in His teaching, God Himself to His disciples the Apostles, the about to be by Him consecrated bishops of His true Roman Catholic Church, that He as God does miracles for the purpose to edify those who still waver in the Faith and don't believe the truth...and so when one of them, the Roman Centurion, sent to Our Lord to implore Him for the cure of his sick servant and in humility declared unto Our Lord that he is not worthy that God would come under his roof, so it is in comparison with all the human souls still wavering and in doubt what to do...as they've been taken for the ride by the heretics and impostors to the priesthood, by their evil lies and deceit, by their lack of piety and true Catholic Faith, which is nothing else but Catholic Tradition, and so such doubting souls can look at the example of this same Cornelius, the Roman officer, whose trust in the truth Who Christ Our Lord is, that is God Himself, the Roman Centurion didn't waver and remained firm in his trust in God, Who is the Truth essentially...and so God rewarded him for his humility and faith, by the miraculous cure of his servant...and of course, much much more...as becoming truly Catholic, which is an immense gift of God to all that will humbly and faithfully receive it...
